HERE WE GO AGAIN!
Last year, the Five Day Film Challenge was a success and a lot of fun. In 2019, we’re bringing it back even bigger and better! We’re teaming up with FestivAll Charleston and the Aronfield Agency to make our event into even more of an event this year. Watch our facebook page for updates!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Participants of the Five Day Film Challenge will have five days to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Then, during FestivAll’s closing weekend, we'll host a screening of the films (location TBD). The screening will be on the evening of June 29th and will be open to all with a “pay what you like” entry fee. Bring your friends, because everyone in attendance gets to be a judge for our Audience Choice award!

On our screening night, Aronfield Agency is helping us throw a party for the participants and attendees. Come enjoy live music, food and drink leading up to our screening. More details will be announced as we get closer to the event.
This year, our grand prize will be an audience choice award. Attendees of the screening will all get a chance to vote on their favorite film and the winner will receive $500!
Our film challenge is open to any 18+ WV-based person/team who wishes to participate.
Films made for the Five Day Film Challenge will be assigned two random "prompts" that must be included in the films.
Films must be 5 minutes in duration or shorter.
The contest begins Thursday, June 6th at noon and ends Tuesday, June 11th at noon. The screening/party happens on June 29th.
After the screening, the audience will get a chance to vote on their favorite film and $500 will be awarded to the winning film.
