What kind of films will be shown?
One thing we love about film festivals is being able to showcase a huge variety of work across many genres and by filmmakers of different ages and skillsets. As such, our festival will feature short narrative and documentary films, experimental films, music videos, and each day will conclude with two feature films and a filmmaker panel/Q&A.
All of the films selected for our program will be made in Appalachia, by Appalachian filmmakers, or will have subjects relating to the Appalachian cultural region!
Where can I find the program/schedule?
Our full schedule of events across both days of our festival is available to view right here!
Can I submit a film?
Film submissions are closed for 2023, however be on the lookout for our announcements about submitting for the 2024 festival. We expect to be open up submissions shortly after the 2023 festival concludes.
